  • Desensitization: Introducing the feel of the saddle, cinch pressure, and the sound of the mallet in a controlled, low-stress environment.
  • Foundational Movement: Teaching the horse to move off the leg, accept the bit, and maintain a balanced frame at the walk and trot.

Polo Horse Conditioning

TBD

 Our Conditioning Pillars:

  • Cardiovascular Interval Training: Alternating between steady-state trotting and short, high-intensity gallops to build lung capacity and fast-twitch muscle response.
  • Flexibility & Agility Drills: Incorporating figure-eights and rollbacks to maintain "handiness" and responsiveness under pressure.
  • Active Recovery:

TBD

Pro Tip: A well-conditioned horse is a safer horse. When a pony has the stamina to finish a chukker without fatigue, they remain more balanced and responsive to the rider's cues.
